So much has happened! I went to Iceland for 10 days. Paul and Angela came to visit. I learned to love the whitefish salad bagel, and let me tell you folks it is AMAZING! Benjamin, my German pal came to visit. Nicole came back from Europa and Morocco and stopped in for a few days. Shira spent her weekend off in NY. Leyna, otherwise known as Zilla, now that she is engaged, came for a wedding and stayed with us for a few days. Maya was here. And I think that about does it.

I love New York in the summer. yes it is sticky, and humid and you sweat ALOT. But it is also magical. Really and truly amazing. Everything is free. I saw the phil harmonic twice in central park for free, all with a fireworks show at the end of each show. i heard Feist, another band I can't remember the name of right now and a singer song writer in Prospect Park in Brooklyn all for free. I have watched Stand by Me under the brooklyn bridge, and wet hot american summer in McCarren Park Pool. free free free I also saw the breeders for free at McCarren Park pool and went down a slip and slide which was really fun. We went to the top of the Empire State Building the other day, (which was not free, was a big shlep, but really awesome to see the city from up there), I have biked a lot, and even biked to the beer garden in Queens and back the other day. Basically, there is so much awesome sh-t happening that one can not make it to all of it. Also Red hook pool, is free and awesome and now that the latin american food vendors are back, life is complete.

I have also started hunting for a job. Which feels great. I am into it. I am on the 'job a day plan' that is I apply for one job a day. Sooner or later, I will be employed. :) Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I am going to California twice, Seattle once, and Virginia once during the next 2.5 months and I am very excited about it all. Two weddings, one Seattle visit, and one family reunion = awesome.

I am mildy obsessed with weddings. I think I should study them kind of. they are insane.

Today Estelle Getty passed away and Alisa and Ellen are leaving NY for greener pastures. I better work on replacing the three of you in my life. Sike. impossible.
